Hill's® Prescription Diet® j/d is an innovative food that helps maintain healthy joints and improves mobility in dogs. Its unique formula contains high levels of EPA (Eicosapentanoic Acid), an omega-3 fatty acid found in high concentrations in fish oil. Research has shown that EPA can help maintain joint function. Enhanced levels of glucosamine and chondroitin provide the building blocks of healthy cartilage, and L-carnitine, which helps maintain optimum body weight. Canine j/d improves the quality of life by helping dogs run better, play better, and rise more easily.

Daily Feeding Guide
Use only as directed by your veterinarian, the expert on your pet's health needs.

These ranges are a starting point only. Your pet may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian. Keep fresh water available at all times!  With your veterinarian's approval, mix increasing amounts of your pet's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period.

Prescription Diet® Canine j/d is available in canned and dry. Supplementation with other foods is unnecessary and may decrease the effectiveness of the food.  When using with Canine j/d™ canned, decrease the amount of dry food to avoid overfeeding.
