Antirobe is used in the treatment of soft tissue infections, dental infections and bone infections caused by susceptible strains of bacteria. It is available as 150mg capsules and as drops containing 25mg/1ml. The drops should be stored at room temperature. The usual dose in dogs is 2.5-5mg/pound by mouth every 12 hours. The usual dose in cats is 5-10mg/pound by mouth once a day. (sold per capsule).

What special precautions are there

Periodic liver and kidney tests should be performed if the pet is on this medication for more than one month..
