He is the author of 73 books and over 150 book chapters and journal articles. He lectures extensively on an international basis. Dr.
Ackerman is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Society of Journalists and Authors, and the Association of Veterinary Communicators.
